I bought this one from the same person I did my older dog from...So I trust I got a good puppy, however yes I will not know for sure until the ver trip. But he seems to be fine, no nasty poop etc....hes playing, going out potty, etc...his family all looked great, I ask about Baby Shampoo because it is so gentle...as he is very tiny...he's a pound...maybe, and I will be very careful around the eyes.

They make puppy shampoo that is the equivalent of a gentle baby shampoo...it's like $3 in Wal-Mart or Petsmart...it's better for the fur, because baby shampoo is made especially for human hair and may strip your puppy's oils from his fur.

There are illnesses that cause odors in dogs and can be very contagious to other dogs so weather you choose to bath it or not keep it away from the other dog until it sees the vet. Does the puppy have diarrhea and did any of its litter mates have the runs?

He sounds a little young for a bath. He could easily get a chill I would think. Have you tried a little scented baby lotion or the cologn spray made for dogs? They also make a waterless bath. I would talk to my vet before giving a puppy that young a bath.

yes wash her or him in the baby shampoo, its not going to hurt the k-9. in fact the baby shampoo will help the pups skin not to try out, but when you do wash make sure you dry it good. because it is small you dont want it to get a cold. my friend only wash's her chihuahua's in baby shampoo.

Its probably ok, if your scared to use the baby soap, just wipe him down with some water. I would say to just be careful that you dont get the soap in his eyes
