yes there is. you need to give muscles a time to recoop. Sometimes the more you do of a certain exercise ..it can have the opposite effect. Do some reading or talk to a trainer. More is not always good. As you have probably read or been told, alternate days for weights and aerobics.

Yes, there is such a thing as exercising too much. You could be burning away all the calories you've eaten. You should talk to your doctor about this.

Your body tends to tell you when you are overtraining. You may feel:

1) Sluggish - because you've sapped your own energy
2) Sore
3) Tight

It is possible to overtrain, but you seem to be aware that you are near that point. Don't injure yourself by pushing too hard!

And by the way, keep the water and nutritional calories coming to replace what you have lost. Protein helps rebuild that muscle and comes in many healthy / tasty forms: Nuts, legumes, lean meats, fish.

Have fun!

The human body is able to withstand a lot of exercise. I've seen many people "overtrain", but they were weightlifters. The abs diet is not as intense on your system.

Depends on how much? If you are doing exercises three of more times a day, you are not giving the muscle time to develop.

Nah. exercise is good for you! Just remember to eat enough to keep your energy level healthy because you're probably burning off food quickly. Maybe too quickly
