Do you know what type of job your looking for?
Do you know how to competently do the job?
If you do, first you need to write a cover letter and resume.
Second, you need to look in the phone book for companies that offer the position your looking for. Don't worry if they are hiring or not. Call the company and get the fax number.
Third, fax resumes and cover letters to the company. Get about 40 companies, the more companies you fax, the greater amount of responses.
Fourth, secedule interviews and pick the best one for you.

Merchant Marines. Start as a deckhand. They always need them on the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. You can try elsewhere too. You can work your way up to captain. School not necessary.

You don't need school to become a police officer. If not try working at In n Out. they pay alot.

you could get your security licsence.... i think all you have to do is take a class, and do a test...depends on which state you live in!
