Technically, the hypothalamus produces a chemical very similar to dopamine while a person is stimulated by their lover. So there really is a love "high". When that person no longer elicits the chemical production from the hypothalamus, you will fall out of love and find your "fix" elsewhere.

Well, it depends on the situation. More information like how long you have been together, what type of relationship (married, attached, etc.), kids or no, and what is going on? Why do you feel as if you or someone you love is falling out of love?
In some relationships I've seen, and in my own, they feel as if they fall out of love because they've been together for a long time, like 7-20+ years. Everything begins to look the same, feel the same, and it's just getting boring. Falling in love is just a chemical reaction, according to science so maybe the reason a person falls out of love is because those chemicals are starting to decrease. What matters is that you still have feelings for the person, a feeling of love and caring for the person.

You don't fall out of love. Love can fade over time for various reasons. But you cannot just stop loveing someone.

when you think that you do not luv that person u have loved anymore. If when you guys kiss, u dont feel the same as u used 2 or when ou guys have s** the magic is not there anymore, you can tell if u are still in love or not in love. or like everyone said CHEAT, JUMP OFF A CLIFF or BUMP INTO SOMEONE ELSE

I don't think you can do it intentionally. You might try distracting yourself in other ways until the person isn't your be all and end all, but you have other interests and friends. Personally, I didn't "fall" out of love with my ex-husband--he killed it.

Sometimes it's because of being apart for a long time so that you get used to it.

When you don't feel anything special when thinking of him/her.
When you feel bored of him/her.
