I don't know if he means it in a way that he really likes me or he actually loves me. We've just started going out, about a week and a half ago. However, we've fancied eachother since before xmas...help?

We were really close before he asked me out. He's had a bit of a stressful year at uni and said that i've always been there for him, and he said i was amazing.
I'm just unsure if he means it because he's never been in a long term relationship, I have...I'm think he may just think he's in love, but not be?

Love is in the heart. How do you feel about this guy. Sometimes to fancy each other is not enough, it could just be lust. Do you have butterflies in your stomach when you see him? How does he treat you? What has he done for you to make you feel that he loves you. Love is not a saying thing, it is a feeling and doing thing. Did he bring you flowers? Did he run to pick up your pencil when you dropped it? Let me give you a hint. My husband still runs to pick up my pencil when I drop it, sometimes i drop it on purpose. After he picks it up I would give him a big kiss and say
YES just as if I had made a big sale. Everyone has a little thing out of several that gives them a hint. You must have one. If you cannot find any then hit the road. Love doesn't live there. Some people use that term just to get in your pants. be careful.

well it may just be puppy love and all. i mean you guys have been going out for a short time, he may think that he does. but just give it time, and see if he feels the same way for you again. that or he may think that he loves you, but you really cant be to sure. but you should ask him how he feels about you and mainly just communicate with him as much as possible.

well, you could come right out and ask him. love comes in many ways/forms. aif it were me i would ask him directly.
and then i would watch carefuly how the relationship develops, Just take things slow, don't rush into anything.
Get to really know each other. you have to work at anytype of relationship, you need to nurture it and help it to grow strong. Today young couples don't seem to understand, both parties need to work at keeping the relationship alive. (work like your planting a garden)

I bet he means that he actually loves you. Normally, (to my experiance) I have found relationships, in my school, to be they love each other. Though, of course, there were the exceptions. Why not ask him instead?
