God told Man not to eat from the Tree of Knoledge of Goof and Evil because he knew that we were sin is my best guess. Adam & Eve was kicked out of the garden because they disobeyed God by eating from the tree of knoledge of good and evil, but is it acually a sin just to know good and evil? I mean, God knows good and evil, but God has never sinned. Jesus knew good and evil, but jesus never sinned. I mean, you have to know what's right in order to know what's wrong ro to know what not to do, right? So, why didn't God want us to eat from the tree in the first place? Is it that God knew that we would do evil if we were to know the difference. It just seems that God never trusted Man even before Man ate from the tree of good and evil although we were meant to be like gods. So, God was never to trust Man although we were meant to be like God, but why wouldn't God trust his own creation to do the right thing? Why would any god create anything that would turn against him? choice of freedom?

you are posing the same idea that Lucifer did to Eve. That God had some evil intent in His edict. Why or why not eat of the tree is not the issue. God could have just as well of said "Do not pee where the grass does not grow" The real issue is whether to obey God or not. The exercise of free will as according to Gods plan was initiated here so that after the full consequence of self interest is evident and the world is impacted as it has been God could then show that the exercise of the will by choosing to Love God through Christ would be possible, to the intent that the manifold wisdom of God might be known by the church to the principalities and powers in heavenly places.

Yes, God knew Adam and Eve would eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
It was part of the plan.
They were instructed to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
They were also instructed to mulitply and replenish the earth.

In order to do this, they had to eat of the tree. Before eating of the tree, they were innocent. They knew nothing of mating and babies, and such.
Eve ate of the tree, and Adam chose to eat as well in order to stay with Eve. There were consequences-and that was being cast out of the Garden of Eden.
That was the only way the world could have continued.

How else could we make our own choices (have free agency) had we not had available the knowledge with which to make those choices?
God does not force anyone to be obedient or follow His ways.
It's not that He doesn't trust us, but He gave Adam and Eve a choice from the beginning.
They could eat of the tree and bring about life to earth in abundance, and then also find out what it means to have consequences through disobedience (being cast out of the garden). Many lessons were learned that way that couldn't be learned another way.
OR
they could just not eaten of the tree-and the rest of us wouldn't be here.

We al have the abiility to choose for ourselves the path we will follow, and we all pay for our own sins-NEVER for the sins of Adam and Eve or anyone else. That's not what free agency is about.

I hope that helps!
:)

p.s. And, NO, Jesus did not SIN. There is such a thing as
'righteous anger'. The people in the marketplace at the temple
were hardened con-artists and thieves. Saying 'please' would
not have worked.

humans are weak in their doings
we know good and bad but still we are doing bad things
think
if we do not know good and bad is it justify to punish us?
if we do a wrong thing but we don't know what we have done, then it will called a fault
but what can call a person knowing that he is doing wrong thing but never give up doing this?
it will called a crime or sin
so doing good and evil is not a sin, the sin is doing bad when you know that you are doing a wrong thing.
while eating the fruit Adam was refusing God's order knowingly.
therefore it was a sin not a fault.
God knows good and evil before the creation of every thing Jesus was a part of him he was before the creation the are more than perfect in their wishes so there is no chance of any kind of sin by them
Devil knows the good and bad he is also strong in his doings
we are hanging between good and bad doings that's we who have to move towards good or the evil.
mythologically this situation is created by the God and the lord of sin

Not a sin to know good and evil but it is a sin to disobey God. The whole thing was a matter of trust. Would Adam and Eve trust God and obey Him or would they turn away from Him and do their own thing as Satan did? Who did they love more? It was nothing more than a very simple test to see where their loyalties lay. Satan told them they would be like gods but we are not meant to be gods but simple human beings that serve a great and wonderful God. Are you happy with knowing good AND EVIL? Wouldn't it have been so much better if you did not have to know evil? Could have been that way if sin had not come to this world by disobedience. WE do have freedom of choice and that is a real problem for so many as they choose to serve self rather than to serve God. God did not want robots that would serve Him only because they had to but He wanted people that would choose to serve Him out of love and trust for Him. You see, we don't have to know good and evil to obey God but if we do not obey Him, then we find out what evil really is and that we would have been better off not knowing about it. Do you have to experience losing an arm to be able to know not to put your arm into a tree shredder? WE don't have to know about evil to obey any more than we need to lose our arm to be able to choose not to put our arm into a tree shredder because someone we know and trust says it would not be good to do it. If we lose that trust and put our arm in there, we are going to know what evil thing that can be. Then it is too late.

For your information Jesus sinned. A good example is when he threw the group of people who had converted the house of God in a market place. Instead of throwing them out with a lof of anger (which is a sin) he should have kindly requested them to leave. Practising what you preach.

About knowing good or evil if it is a sin, well because of Adam and Eve, every one born has the original sin, which is forgiven once a person is baptise. It is not a sin to know good or evil, but it is a sin to practice evil.

actually He gave adam and eve free will, He didnt want a planet full of robots, all doing good only cuz they didnt ahve a choice. He made sure they had a choice, and those that were/are faithful prove that it is possible to make good decisions. And He had to send his son as a ransom sacrifice to cover over the sins we inherited from Adam and eve's disobediance. and its not like there werent other trees with fruit in the garden. and its also not like adam had to listen to his wife. Jehovah couldve made him a new wife. he had more ribs. and about jesus anger, God has anger when people are disobedient or disrespectful. Anger moved by love for others is alright.

The tree of knowledge of good and evil was actually the devil.
Tree=backbone. (Strong's concordance 06086),
http://www.blueletterbible.org/tmp_dir/words/6/1151331901-102.html

All the souls were made before flesh men were made. The devil beguiled Adam and Eve sexually. This is why they covered them selves right after.
They will die because the had to go through the flesh.
When Satan fell, he took two thirds of the children of God. God made
flesh men in order to see who would love God in the flesh, with true love, with faith. Those that don't love God will not make it in the end.

It's a matter of innocence lost. God knew that if man became aware of himself...his true state...man's guilt would prevent him from having fellowship with God. That's what happened...the first thing they did was hide. Our idea of perfection is a new born baby. But what if, through some fluke, someone was able to communicate with the baby and enable it to become aware of it's true state...a smelly, slobbering, pooping, demanding little annoyance that served no purpose except to get us up at night? We might find in cringing in the corner in shame, unable to face us. Then we would be angry at whomever told the baby these things, even though they had some truth to them. God told Adam and Eve not to go there, because they would discover something they couldn't handle. Jesus' sacrifice was God's ultimate solution in order to convince man of his true intentions for man, to rid man of the guilt acquired in the garden. That's why in Isaiah, He is called a "guilt" offering. Accepting it takes us back to the garden, where God can enjoy fellowship with us again...and we can grow out our diapers in the manner God first intended.

It's not the matter knowing that what is write and what is wrong.. it's about just disobeying the words of the one who created "U"... Just thing if U tell Ur child not to go for a Adult movie ... U tell it because it can pass a wrong message to them... if Ur child disobeys U ... U get anger and punish them so that they would not do it again and its not that's because u love them more than others... This is what it happened ... .. I thing u got Ur answer...
