You are right there is more pain ans suffering than ever before that is because we are livuing in times hard to deal with and tribulation as neve before which means the last days of sufferingwill be a thing of the past very soon. but as to why it is one thing that Jesus died for our sins but it doesn't mean that everything will just like that disapear, andjust how many people believe on and follow Jesus today, oh yes there are some, but really the most of the popuklation does not it is only a smal percentage who do, these days of pain and suffering are a sign of the end of the last days being here, and bringing relief for all that! But , you may ask how and when will the benefits be realised?By excercising faith in the ransom sacrifice that Jesus suplied, we can have a clean standing before God, and come under his loving and tender care(Revelation7:9,10)Many of us may have committed terrible sins before we learned about God. And even now we make mistakes, sometimesvery serious ones, But we can freely seek forgiveness from God on the basis of the ransom, with confidence that he will hear us.(1Corinthians6:9-11)Also , in the days ahead, the ransom will open the way for us to receive God's gift of everlasting life in his righteous new world.(2Peter3:13) At that time all those excercising faith in the ransom will be released from bondage of sin and death. They may look forward to life forever in perfection!

Because there are more people living and alive today that the total number of people that have lived and died up to now. Its simple math. There are more people with the ability to accept Jesus and there are more people to reject Him. However you are wrong in your assumption that Jesus died to free all humans of pain and suffering. If that were true then it would be so. The bible says that all who live Godly lives will suffer pain and persecution.

first off there isnt more pain and suffering now than "ever before". There is less pain and suffering. We've cured diseases, figured out medical treatment for a lot of conditions and the world's people live better lives than ever in history so your premise is wrong.
Secondly, the assumption that Jesus came to take away pain and suffering is a metaphorical one. What it means is that he came to offer you freedom from sin and death.

The only way Jesus can free us from pain and suffering is if we ask him and he fills that it is the best thing for us. Sometimes we can turn out better by going through hard times it prepares us for the next trial.

Not all humans will be saved, but just the BELIEVER. The suffering is as test of your faith. Because for the Lord Jesus, you die or you life is the same. If you die, you will be with Jesus in heaven, but if you life in the world it means there is a task you will do.

What Jesus had done is to initiate the start of rebuilding ourselves and our world. However, we need to accept it thru faith.
It is just like a business deal, offer and acceptance. The offer for peace is already there, but the other parties need to act on it and accept the deal.
Heb 11:1, Faith is substance hope for, evidence not found.
My dear, there is no need to have suffering. Just take the step of faith to accept it.

Good question. But read the Gospels though, think about it, Jesus promised there would be hardships, and his Kingdom is not of this earth. Now look at Romans 8:18. See Jesus saved you from your sins, Jesus saved you from Hell. Not from tornadoes and poverty, this isn't Heaven yet, but it soon will be, are you ready?

He was sacrificed to free us of the original sin (all sins after that are of our own free will).
Pain and suffering are caused by actions/accidents/disease; our reaction should be to turn to God/Christ for strength.

I think we are living in the last days<><
And also a lot of people are being blinded by the evil one!
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. (2Timothy 3:1-5)
