cutting you hair is the best and most cost effective way

Rub it with an ice cube to get it hard, almost frozen itself. It will slide right off those strands of hair. The oil in peanut butter will do the trick, thats a really old remedy or you could try Bond Remover that people use to remove the glue from hair extensions.

Olive oil...will lube the hair shaft area and slide the gum out...will give your hair an oil treatment if dry too...will need extra gentle shampoo to get out too...like BABY SHAMPOO
....if the gum is at the hair end...just snip it out....you may need a new hairdo (put hair in upsweep) or just wait 3-4 weeks and things will even out with a trim.

peanut butter, i got some fly paper (you know the really sticky glue you put down to catch flies) stuck in my hair, I rubbed it with peanutbutter, and it all came out, take a shower after that too. If that doesnt work, well then cutting it probally wod be another answer....

You have to put peanut butter in your hair then attempt to get it out. If that doesnt work, cutting is probably your only option.

I've heard to use peanutbutter or vegetable oil to soften the gum.
