I usually log in as invisible, if I see one of my friends is online, or if I feel like I want to be available to chat, I change it to "available".
I don't like to chat often, so I usually stay "invisible", especially if I am playing a game, or paying bills, and don't want to be bothered.

I think the point of invisible mode is so you can NOT tell....

Go to your address list to see whos light is on. Thats usually tells.

just talk to him/her if he/she reply so he/she is invisible if not so he/she is offline !! :D:D huh
