If christians were perfect, then there wouldn't be so many retarded, awful people in the world.

Christians aren't perfect, but saved Christians are in the process of being perfected. Be patient, this process takes a lifetime.
Yes, false Christs do produce false Christians.
Christ is the end of the law of sacrifice, but He is the signature on the Law of Love.
People will divide over Christian doctrine, but the peace Christ gives is not the peace the world gives.
The crown of Grace only comes from Christ.
A Christian's crown is the glory of Christ.
With all of your 'getting', get wisdom.
Hope this helps.

Christians are by no means perfect. None is perfect but the Father who art in Heaven. All are saved by grace. Christ is the Law, having no beginning nor end. This verse means He has the final say in the Law. No Christ is not divided. True Christians put on incorruptibles crowns when they reach heaven their real home. Solomon was speaking of the Glory of God. Come to know God on a personal level and then you will understand Him. Your glory comes in through Christ. We have no glory of our own. So your crown of Glory is the Rose of Sharon, Who is Christ the Lord of all.

Two basic Christian doctrines deal with the issue you bring up.

Justification is the doctrine dealing with salvation. When Christians say they are "justified" by God, that means that -- although people have a sinful nature and their righteousness is flawed -- God has substituted Jesus' rightfulness for theirs.

So, with justification, we are in a sense perfected at salvation -- we have been credited a reighteousness that is not actually ours, out of God's love and grace. Since we are "perfect" (with Jesus' righteousness placed on "our account" so to speak), we are able to commune with God now.

Sanctification, the next step of doctrine, deals with the slow process of transformation of the heart, so that a Christian learns how to love people as God does.

With sanctification, the Christian obviously starts off with many flaws and weaknesses, and the continual process of learning about and knowing God basically helps the Christian to mature into a person more like God -- someone who can fit constructively into the kingdom of heaven and community.

So in that sense, we start out saved but NOT perfected... and perfection is something we work for in life but is not attainable until afterwards.

Loosely, sanctification is sort of us slowly coming into conformance with the perfection originally credited to us by God at salvation... although that might be a little too generalized.

Christians aren't perfect, were just saved. Anyone who tells you any different is wrong, because you can only be a Christian once you have been saved by Jesus.

Umm, we are saved from having to be perfect according to the law by the grace of Jesus. Is that really all that hard to understand? Seems real simple to me, but then again, I'm one of Jesus flock.

John 10:24-30 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
