You need to get the split ends cut off. You really can't "heal" damaged hair. If you get your hair trimmed regularly (every 2 months) then your split ends should be in check. You should also try not to use too much heat on it (blow dryer/styling irons) as this could be the cause of the split ends. If you are using heat styling, consider also using a spray that will protect your hair from the heat damage. Try V05 Miracle Mist http://www.vo5.com/VPstyling/pr_r_p6.cfm

Have the split ends cut, as in about 2 to 3 inches up if possible and maintain your hair well after that. Vo5 is good but u can try natural treatments like aloe vera juice. For me Pantene Conditioner works well for maintenance.

Henna is not the answer. The best conditioner for split ends is trimming. If you don't trim them the hair will just continue to split up farther, which will then require a bigger trim.

Make sure your diet is good. Also there are lots of products out there to "hold hair together." We do so much damage to our hair with heat and chemicals - it's a billion dollar business with more products always being developed. I would check with your stylist because professional products are always best.

On henna, once you start using henna, if you want to use professional color - you can't do it. I have seen some really strange colors on clients who forgot to tell their stylist that they used any henna products on their hair.

Do you have an allergy to scissors? Cut them off they won't go away no matter how much you spend on treatments.
