If you're thinking that there is a risk of splashing water, with a modern TV set with a flat screen there should be only one item which carries mains and that is the input transformer.

You can get battery operated TVs and if you can get one with a low voltage flat screen there would be little risk. However splash water all over any operating TV and it may well cease to work for ever...

Its totally possible. Im an installer!
You'll need an LCD tv housed in a waterproof housing. There is no risk of shock with water if installed correctly.
These tv's are pretty much special order though, through specialist trades counters and not cheep - try :

done correctly, you should be able to shroud the TV to exclude the moisture.
otherwise you could mount it facing in through a glass panel in the wall.
