no i had very successful laser eye surgery, went in with a prescription of -7 in each eye, and cam out with perfect vision.
Basically what they did is put a pain killer (drops) onto the eyeball, then they use instruments to ensure the eye is kept open, they then cut around the cornea of the eye and fold this back, flash a laser onto the pupil which burns it and causes scarring, so that the eye is corrected and that you don't need to wear glasses anymore.
It does not really hurt, but is uncomfortable for 24-48 hours afterwards.
As i said worked perfect for me, and am really glad that i had it done, and would recommend it to anybody.
But there are some risks involved but then isn't everything in life a risk.

Get your lasik surgry in INdia.Lasik is very cheap in India.There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India.They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients as all surgery is not covered by insurance in USA or by the stinking NHS in UK

My cousin got her cosmetic surgery for lasik and she is more than very happy with the results.SHe is all praise for this forerunners healthcare companyfor the services they provided her.She paid just 30% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her.Excellent stay,food, best surgeons-she just couldnt stop talking.hope this helps.
