Going to sleep early will help to reset your clock. Don't go home [or to work] without doing at least 30 minutes vigorous exercise. Although it feels like you don't have the energy for it now, in a few weeks you will feel stronger, more energetic and will even have the desire to do more in the evening. Going to bed early (8:30-9:30) is so KEY.
Drink orange juice and eat a banana around 1:30 in the afternoon and that will give you the boost to make it through. Orange juice spikes your blood sugar, so don't overdo it.
Also, check out at the drug store (Wal-mart, Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, etc.) some packets called Emergen-C. They are a life saver and give me better energy without a crash or side effects ~ I used to be a coffee and green tea drinker.
Organize your tasks, too if you can to do the boring things first thing in the morning.
Good luck to you!

Feeling so tired and sleepy is not normal. You are either not getting enough sleep, or when you do sleep...something isn't right.

You need to speak with your doctor about this. You could have sleep apnea, or another condition that keeps you feeling drained. I don't want to scare you....but, I felt like that all the time, too. I was later diagnosed with lupus and sleep apnea.

It is highly unlikely that you would have the lupus, but sleep apnea is fairly common, and you would not even know you had it....as you are, obviously, asleep.

In the meantime, all I can think of would be some of the high caffeine drinks, like Mt. Dew or Red Bull, or something along those lines.

But, be SURE you talk to your doctor....and don't let them poo poo you off. MAKE them test you for possible causes.

Don't worry, this is normal. Whenever I start a new job I feel completely wiped out for about 3 weeks. It's just because everything is new and you're having to learn everything in super fast time. You feel that you must make a good first impression and get up to speed as fast as you can.

Starting a new job is a stressfull time and it's going to make you sleepy but it does get better. As you get to know the job and the people better things won't seem as bad as they did when you were doing everything for the first time.

To help you get through this time you should try to get as much quality sleep time as you can. One way to help you do this is to change your mattress for a memory foam mattress. This can work wonders if you are having any trouble at all sleeping and even if you aren't it's worth the investment. Treat yourself.

For me , usually I will motivate myself first before start doing anything...Think about the bright side like when you get paid and how to spend the money etc..You will not be so sleepy and try to get enough rest..It works for me.Best of Luck !!

Early to bed, early to rise ...etc. is the first rule.
Natural food, veggies & fruit. light stomach at work.
Some light biscuits with a thermos of liquified yoghurt at lunch break.
Mints and some candy to give you energy at work (a must).
Exercise at least twice weekly.
