I not exactly sure what the question is. Concrete once it is mixed will cure with no action on your part. There are things like keeping it moist that will aid the curing process and give you maximum strength.
If the question is how much does the concrete need to cure for it to be used, that depends on what you are going to do and the design level of the concrete. Also the consequences of a failure should be considered.
Concrete generally reaches two thirds of its strength in 7 days and full design strength in 28 days. It continues to strengthen after the 28 days but typical designs use the 28 day strength.
To walk on or for very light loads, 24 hours is okay. For a drive way with just a car or pickup on it, 3 or 4 days is plenty safe. To erect a steel framed building using anchor bolts, I would wait at least 7 days to assure the anchor bolts do not pop out.

It depends on what concrete your using, what your doing with the concrete, and what loading you will be putting on the concrete. Generally, concrete will reach about 60-75% of it's rated strength in 3 days. If early use of the concrete is needed (like for a foundation that you need to set equipment on sooner then 3 days) you can get a high early mix that will give you more strength earlier, or increase the strength of the concrete you are placing (ie: 5,000# mix instead of 3,000# mix)

The concrete we make in the lab cures for 24 hours at 100% humidity. In the field obviously you don't. The Australian Standards which we run off are different according to whether curing is done in temperate or tropical climates, but I think 24 hours is pretty standard all round. You can cure quickly at raised temperatures, but we only do this for the capping of samples.

it really depends on what you want to do with it so soon. but i would say 3 days, and keeping it quite wet after the initial 24 hours for several days, after keeping it dry (no additional water other than the mix) for the first 24 hours.
you will have minimum strength from there, but enough to work on. after that at 7 days you will have much better strength and a month will be nearly the ultimate strength of the concrete.
