my dads letting me get a pool or a laptop what should i choose?

a pool costs about 10x as much as a laptop and you can get about 10x the amount of use out of it (depending on where you live). laptops are outdated as most as soon as you by one, but you can also get a lot of use out of them. I think I would go with the pool as I could buy myself a laptop much more easily than I could a pool. However, if you've never been responsible for a pool, it can be very taxing financialing and even physically. If you meant a pool TABLE, i'd go for that!

If the pool costs the same as a laptop then it's not much of a pool. If it's a good sized pool though then def go with that. You can have a lot more fun with it. Realize however that you will probably be the one responsible for cleaning it and doing all the work if it is a gift for you. Oh and by the way, you better be kissing your dads *** daily and telling him how much you love him if he buys you a nice pool just cause you want it you spoiled brat.

Definitely a pool! A lap top is likely going to be a lot cheaper than a pool, so you could maybe save up to get one of those yourself, or in the meantime you could get a cheaper desk top computer to use when your not in the pool. Look at it this way, there are private pools and computers, and public pools and computers. I have a private computer (in my house), but when I want to go to the pool and have to use a public pool, which is fun and all, but I'd much rather have my own private pool in my backyard to use, and then have to go to the library to use a public computer. That would be so awesome to have my own pool. The pool is going to be a lot more expensive than any laptop, so as long as your dad is offering to cover the bill, I'd definitely go with a pool for now! Good luck!

I would get a pool, so that way you can have a pool party with all your friends every weekend.

Depends on yourself. What do you want to achieve.
Pool, as in Pool table is a nice thing to hang around, but limited in what it can do.
Pool as in Swimming Pool, is nice, also can hang around, more possibilities. But are you intend to spend hours on end in/near it.
Laptop, is Nice, as it provide a link to the world, via the Internet. Once you learn about World of War-craft(WOW), you may spend days on it, (Your are forewarned on WOW)
Don't forget to Thank your Dad, he is trying to make you happy.
