Yes....brushing your teeth is just to get food out of the mouth so it doesn't form into the things that rot teeth..... the abrasives found in just some of the toothpastes available are the things that wear down the enamel coating your teeth.Once the enamel is broken down....teeth rot

Well of course too much of any good thing CAN be bad. In this case, if you brush incorrectly it WILL be bad. You can wear the enamel down on the teeth if you brush very hard for a long period of time. I have actually seen patients with grooves worn into their teeth from brushing too harshly and in the horizontal position. Also, you want to make sure that you use a fluoridated toothpaste-which most are. Do not swallow it, as too much of that isn't good for you. So, brushing your teeth will be a definite good thing as long as you brush in a circular manner using the brush gently and don't scrub! You can then brush as often as you like--thats a good thing!

As long as you brush your teeth correctly & use a soft tooth brush then no. Put your tooth brush near the margin of your gum & sweep away. if you have an doubts, see your dentist & he/she will advise you on the correct way.
Alot of people think the harder you brush your teeth the cleaner they will be & thats not true, if you brush too hard then u can wear down ur enamel & ur gums may receed.

Yes, you can actually brush the enamal off your teeth if you aren't careful. If you think you are brushing your teeth too often make sure you are using a soft toothbrush. That will help some.

yes... brushing your teeth a lot and hard can thin your enamel and make your teeth feel sensitive. Use a soft brush and brush twice a day.

Too much brushing can damage your gums and thin the enamel on the teeth themselves. So increased risk of cavities and receeding gums! Don't do it!

Yes - especially if you're not using a fairly soft toothbrush, you can actually start wearing the enamel off your teeth.

Yes, you can.
You can brush them until your gums bleed -- or worse, recede.
Once your gums have receded, the roots of your teeth are exposed. They can get cavities, and they are sensitive to cold, heat, and sweets.

Yes, you can damage your gums or erode the enamel. Usually by obsessive people or people with otherwise sensitive teeth.
