Yeah...I totally agree! There are many people who don't bother to use spell check and sometimes it makes reading their comments or questions difficult. People really should use spell check if they want others to understand them. Seems like they're just lazy to do it.

God no... you are not the only person to notice this... People complain here about spelling all the time... I would point out to those people that:
1. Many people whose first language is not English use this site.
2. Many younger people use this site.
3. Spell check is an inexact science and anyway often is out of order.
4. Many of them are 'typos' and are the result of typing quickly... No big deal...
5. If you post your answer quickly, it'll be higher in the queue and have a better chance of being chosen 'best answer'. That's life at Y!A.
Most of the time, it's not a big deal. I really wonder why people get so upset about it.

You can't do a spell check in add detail (optional) when posting a question. Some people have dyslexia. I have dyslexia. Some peoples first language isn't English.

I agree!!! I think language is being forgotten, and you don't imagine how bad is Spanish, imagine that most stresses are graphic (one more key to be pressed).... I hate when good spelling is forgotten!!!! And more when all abbreviations come to play the game!!! Goddamn MSN has made spell-check be forgotten!

I'm sure many people can't type without looking and they don't care to see if they spelled it correctly that would take up precious time

This questions has been asked a billion times. So why is it you asked a billion 1 when you could have read many answers to the same questions already posted?

typos are okay, it happens, but why do people use these stupid r u's and ne1's. when i see that i usually skip the question reather then read through a whole bunch of abbreviations.
if you couldn't take the time to write the question, you probably didn't care about the answer anyway.

I have noticed it too. Too bad isn't it that people can't spell. Just ignore them.

I have been thinking about that too. Maybe it´s because people want to send their questions as soon as possible!
