it is your imagination that project an idealistic personality to this photo...
it is possible.. but it is an illusion in their head... and it is just an effect of watching a lot Hollywood romance movies
this actually leads to more disappointment feelings as the lover afterward -when trying to talk to the girl- is just comparing the girl exposed to him with the idealistic personality he had in his imagination.. and this double score the negatives of this girl..
if it co-incidence that they like each other... then God loves them :O) and want to save them from troubles..
To love someone you have to know him/her. and interact with him/her.. cuz from thus interaction you will feel if you both share a certain feelings maps of the personality of you both..

Yes, I am in love with the savior of the broken, the beaten and the damned: Gerard Arthur Way. Once upon a time (since I was 11 until I was like 15) I used to swear that I was in love with Nick Carter and felt bad and confused because I was having feeling for his brother Aaron too, LOL!!!! Then I spent a long time without falling in love with celebs until the age of 18 when I fell inlove with Gerard, LOL!! now I'm 19 and still carry on ;)

the photo or image represents that which you want to love, you might- if you are prone to flights of fantasy,or if the image is so carfted to be overwhelmingly the image representing "love" as you define it, have dificulty diferentiating that which you love from that with which you are in love..You can love a sentence in a favorite book.. "Come now and let us reason together...", "I will rise up with wings as an eagle, I will run and not be weary,,, " . I have images of the invisible GOD whom i love. I love the word, I'm in love with my Lord.. Displaced love, or ascribing love to an inanimate object or an animal, is considered avante garde among peta people and tree huggers. Each to his own, or something like that.

Yes, but then you're not falling in love with the person but with a figment of your imagination. But is that not always the case?

I'll think it is more of lust than love, 'coz i feel you need to get to know the person at least before you can use the term love. Lust or infatuation is more like it.

I think it is easy to become infatuated, esp over the internet. There is a difference between infatuation and love, however.
