yes, of coz...
it's deeply embedded into every chinese (not as a religion, but as a guide to morality and ethics).
examples: morals, loyalty to one's country, fillial piety, insistence on education, etc

Daoist (Taoist), Buddhist, Christian 3%-4%, Muslim 1%-2%
note: officially atheist (2002 est.)

confucianism & ethical consumerism have no conflicts.

a big NO. confucius teaches you moderateness and humility. from what i see of urban modern china, thats not happening is it. they are spiriling out of control in searching for MONEY nirvana.
