Can anyone tell me if there is anything that I can get in Toronto that's not expensive to get rid of bed bugs that will not harm my cats? We have a really bad infestation of bed bugs and we want to get rid of them. Yet we don't want to use anything that will harm our cats. Any ideas? We've tried vaccumming, but that doesn't really help. Help! This driving us nuts. We can't sleep. We're on a fixed income, so cost is a factor also. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would remove the bedding and treat it with Lysol liquid in the brown bottle in the hottest water setting. Use lysol spray in the areas of the house and repeat often. The labels should have instructions for bed bug elimination use.

Steam clean your bedding. Shop around for a cheap steam cleaner. You can clean your whole house too, no need for cleaning products, you can use it to strip wallpaper and defrost your fridge too. It will kill all bugs in beds and carpets. You can get small hand held ones. We got ours in woolworths, it was £40 here in England. They are great, totally safe around people and animals, and many uses. All that money saved on cleaning products too.

Anti allergenic covers for the mattresses. Freeze your bedcovers and pillows, then in the dryer. Repeat maybe once, than it should be clean.

Should fix it completely toxin free..
