The answer lies in the way you put the question: "the only name mankind can be saved."

If someone isn't a Christian, then if you tell them JESUS is the only name to save mankind, they may be offended because it sounds as if you are telling them that what they believe in is wrong. Nobody likes to be told they are wrong!

I know many Christians who are good people, just as I know many non-Christians who are also good people. The best way to get people to accept that Jesus is the way is to show them, not shout it at them (JESUS). If you are a good person leading a good life, you are far more likely to persuade others by your actions of your beliefs, than if you just tell them they are wrong.

This applies, no matter what religion you accept: 'show and tell' is usually more effective than just 'tell.'

'My Big Bear Ron' has the best answer so far in my opinion I dont know anyone that gets offended by the name 'Jesus' why should they?
Relating Jesus to God however is a different matter altogether! This is a Christian thing, no other religion believes that Jesus was (or is) God , he was a Prophet (maybe) but God??
So dont kid yourself no one really cares less about your Jesus, try not to work yourself into one of those religious frenzies over it, no one cares!! End of story!!

Pluralism; many ways/paths to the top of the same mountain.

Jesus said He was the way, the truth and the life. Put simply; Hes the only true way. And yes I can see why non Christian religious people would find offense at this; its arrogant and very exclusive. Jesus did say that we would face persecution (maybe not in Europe at the moment, but Christians certainly face it in other parts of the world); so we shouldn’t be surprised if the world at large doesn’t like Christians.

Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

First they are probably offended by you and the way you deliver the message: Jesus die, God resurrected Jesus (our hope for eternal life}, and Jesus will come again).

Second you got the message wrong. The Greek word means "made whole" not "saved". Think about it.

People are usually offended by the truth.
Luke 7:22-23
Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

People get offended by being around others uneducated ehough to still believe in the myth of Jesus. There's been oodles of 'crucified saviors' throughout history. "Jesus" is pure plagiarism.

The majority of people on this planet do not require salvation because they are not sinners. Sinners are those who are unable to keep to the laws of a particular god who displays classic symptoms of Munchausen's by Proxy Syndrome. IOW he created impossible rules by which he could judge and punish humans, creating a need for him to rescue them from his own wrath.

As a child of the Goddess, it is not something I have to worry about because She does not create impossible rules, nor does She judge or punish the spirit for the errors of the flesh.

I'm not offended, however I am agnostic, I'm a bit bored of all the religious questions that get asked. I don't really believe in any of that stuff.

To varying degrees we all are affected by Satan. He of course can not stand the name of Jesus, and he will do all he can to make people hate that name also.
