I waited until I was 18 to start thinking about sex and it seemed like I was the only virgin left? It was incredibly difficult to get/keep a girlfriend once they found out I was a virgin. No girl wanted to take my virginity, so I eventually had to lie and say I wasn't just to get girls to stick around...what's up with that?!

I'm very proud to read that someone out there (especially a MAN) has morals and principles and that he respects himself enough not to have sex with anyone. It's very rare to find virgins nowadays. I know it must be stressful that you want a relationship and none of the girls are willing to date you if there is no sex involved, but I know it's more stressful that when the girls hear that you are a virgin they run away, believe me I know what you''re going through. It says a lot about what a good person or kind of person you are that you've kept your virginity for so long.
Until today I have made the decision that I won't sleep with anyone unless I'm married and until today if I let a guy know about my decision then they run away. But trust me it's worth keeping it. Keep your virginity - it's the right thing to do and atleast you won't ever be worried about STDs and so forth. One day you'll meet someone who'll appreciate you for who you are and what you've done.
Don't loose hope there are girls who WANT a virgin, you've only met the cheap and easy girls. I know it's tough but it will be worth it once you find the right and nice girl and they are out there. Good luck and God bless.

This is typical teenage behavior. They are mostly concerned with image, so the reason that the girls you were finding rejecting you because you were a virgin were doing so is because they probably thought that everybody else rejected you, too, and they didn't want to be with someone that "nobody else wanted."
This perspective is just jaded and flat wrong. Once you get older and start having real relationships with real women, they will appreciate you for your integrity - these are the kind of women you really want to be with anyway.
BTW, if you've waited this long and are still a virgin, keep it that way until marriage. It's amazing to be able to tell your spouse that sex is something that you've only done with HER and NOBODY else.

Cuz when a man is a virgin girl are scared that u will fall in love cuz u alwasy remember ur first and they are not ready for that kind of commentment. They also know that virgins have no experience in what they are doing so they don't want to take the time to teach.

Nasty girls , lack of morals , with AIDS I'd stay clear of open relationships or someone that has not been tested . When I ask show me yours , it after dating awhile and we go together for testing and get ansewr together in the room together .And that only gives us a few months proof not the years it may show up .Okay , I stopped having sex because people are to sexually active . My long relationship 4 years , he was having sex with people on those 800 call for a date . It scared me !
