your mouth is the ideal breeding ground for bacteria! It is warm and moist, which seems to help the growth of those nasty-smelling bacteria. That is the main cause of hallitosis, or bad breath. Other factors include lodged food particles, or maybe some tooth decay that hasn't been found yet.

Causes can be due to

1. Infection in the gum . 80% of people suffer from this

2. Infection in the tonsils

3. Type of the food you eat might cause smell like garlic and onion

4. Absese in the Lung may cause smell. This is usually acccompanied by cough and pain in the chest.

b- You better go to a dentist to examine your mouth. Also visit an ENT specialist to check the tonsils

c- Clean your mouth regularly

d- Take some mint tablets from the chemist, it helps reduce the smell immediatly.

All the best and enjoy good health.

It has to do with the bacteria that exists in your mouth; when you fall asleep and don't remember to brush your teeth at night. When you brush, make sure to brush your tongue and the very back of your tongue is where the 'funk' germs hide, so you'll have a gag session going on from now on - just to get to the back of your mouth. Unless, you don't mind walking around being baby 'Godzilla' lol -progress.

As we don't eat any thing while we are sleeping so the saliva and food particles which remained in some corner are the source of germs in the mouth otherwise it goes to our stomach while we are not asleep.
