No, I don't think they should remove. People will always debate about religion. But I believe this is a good medium for those honestly seeking answers.
I find it ironic in a really sad way that religion is the basis for all of the world's problems. More people have been killed in the name of religion than all natural disasters and wars combined. The Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, Jihad, the Salem Witch Trials, and so many other examples.
Religion is supposed to save one's soul and help them become a better person. So obviously people have never done a good job with doing that. Even Jesus Christ was killed because of religion.

Actually, I agree with just curious. I find a lot more about religions then I will ever find even if I search the whole websites about religions on the internet.
About the 'cyberkilling' as how you put it about bashing other people' religions... actually it's better this way. Like you said, people are more likely to kill each other if they see each other face to face when debating this subject. In Yahoo! Answer you can reflect back, thinking from other people view, asking, answering, or debating the subject without using real name and without exposing real face and home address.
So, it is better this way. It is safer, easier and also nobody is going to be killed!

This is inevitable. If you do not like it, you have a choice not to look into this subject although I do agree with you on certain percentage that people are literally "cyberkilling" each other. Just respect all religions that each individual believes in. Those who are extremist about others' religions are call "fanantic". Is a waste of time talking about them.

I would recommend that that you read the King James version of the Bible. It contains the answers to your questions.
God the Father knew you before you we born in eternity past and when you were formed in your mother womb. We are born with a Soul that will live for eternity. We must decide as a free will agent to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior or not.
Our decision determines whether we spend eternity in Heaven or Hell.
I Pray that you make the right decision.
Jesus Christ Loves You.
God Bless you is my prayer.
David

If it was removed, there would still be fighting somewhere else. There will always be fighting.
Even if the whole world came together at the UN, and they all held hands, and smoked a gigantic humungus, dobie, and sang Kum-bye-yah and Imagine, there would still be a war fifteen minutes later.

Maybe they should add a Dogma section, with sub-sections for each group to post in.
Then they can just report anyone that post in there section with questions/answers they don't like.

Of course not! If there is a question someone has, it can either be answered or ideas can be introduced to help the person form their own opinion.
