I have just read in this section that in order to recognise good one has to have evil.
It went on to say that if you didn't follow Gods word then that was a devils doing and evil. Now these were not just sweeping statements but the question is there for you to view as a general consensus.
Does this mean that you who are believers think that we who do not worship God are evil and do no good?
Do you think that we who do not follow God are not worthy and that we practise only evil in accordance with your beliefs?
Do you really believe that you must have evil to know goodness?
That kindness is only the work of the believers?

I think evil must exist, it helps us from stagnating and gives us a reason to be and create good, so I am bad, it is not easy, but someone has got to do it, and I think it is was Voltaire the french philosopher that said artists must have the very devil in them to create, something like that, and I choose to believe him to, so I have the devil inside me as well.

Good question. i don't really know. The Scriptures say that Adam and Eve took from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It was in that act of rebellion, which was the first human act of evil, that they understood the difference between good and evil. So perhaps it is that we need to have evil to know evil. Yet there is no evil in God, and he always knew the difference.

Kindness is the work of anyone who acts kindly. There is good in all people, since all were made in the image of God. Those who do not worship God are no different than those who do. In fact, "Believers" in the Christian understanding, are those who recognize that they are filled with evil, not those who believe they are filled with good.

I don't know about good and evil, but I do wonder , if there was not something bad to use as comparison, how would we know good?I think that without a comparison that one would not exist without the other. But I do not believe that a person is bad or evil based on his or her beliefs. Those characteristics come from within a persons heart and soul.

It is not necessary that we should have evil to know good. Evil, originally, is the result of man's sin and it continues to multiply because our basic nature has become corrupt. Our natural instinct is towards evil. Good has its relation to God who is all good.

Good and evil for us are basically choices. We can choose to do either. There is so much of good in people around us, if we have the eyes to see. Everyone wants to be good and no one wants to be bad. Most of us try our best to be good. In spite of this, we find ourselves doing many bad things.

Different people have different standards of goodness. Some think they can cover their evil by doing good. Apart from our human standards of goodness, there is a standard set by God. Then the issue is being good and good enough to have God's approval. But since God is perfect and 100% good He can not accept even the minutest fraction of evil. His standard thus is 100%. Thus anything that is less than God's standard becomes evil. No one can please God by being good because our basic nature is bent towards evil. This is the dilemma mankind is facing. The million dollar question: How can one overcome this dilemma and come to terms with a Holy God?

By birth we all belong to one religion that is Humanity. Each of us has to treat the other as co-being. That means we should not harm others. When you treat others as your co-being, naturally there arises a lot of dos and don'ts in your mind. This is the inner conscience that advises you for a life that is suitable for you and others. Whenever you violate it, it is evil and otherwise good. If we all were honouring others, there would not arise any question of laws and orders or police or courts etc. etc.

If you have that good spirit that advise you good and evil, listen to it and lead your life according to you.

Now kindness is not the work of believers. It is the work of mankind.

You have to create 'evil' to know 'good'. They are both judgment calls. Evolve above those labels and just see things as "it is" without the judgemental labels involved.

Someone may see Charles Manson as "evil". I see him as a human hanged upside down in the closet by his mother, just respewing out the darkness someone put inside him. Understand?

people do ignorent things cuz they are possesed by ignorence and that is evil but when you learn more to know good you cast out evil and become cleaner and wiser like haveing famaly show up in a court full of enemies & the number of gods famaly is more than you can count so great that evils voice can not b heard nemore ,now as far as worship?i dont care how you think worship goes as long as you do learn about goodness remember that and keep the reminders present in your thoughts like medicine & food that gives you imunity powers 2 drown out the voice of ignorence which causes so many to be & do sick things of ignorence,so do you beleive in delussional sicknesses or do you beleive in the beleif that cast out sickness delussions and ignorence?then why not accept the beleif of a healthy mind and body of people and knoweledge to cast out those sicknesses of the ignore*ence and stop ignoreing the power of the good knoweledge?and beleive in more than your self?!!

Judgment of faith is not of human control when it comes to him.
He sees goodness in people ..all of his people, even the pesky ones who wander.
He sees inside your heart and knows you.

I have known and faced evil,
and been visited by an angel or two.
The company I would much prefer is the latter of the two.

That is why I say to you,
don't worry about the others and what they say,
Just be as good as you can be and remember he misses you.

You, who don't believe in God, CAN do good, but nevertheless, in our point of view, not worshiping God is evil. Anyway, if you're talking about MY question, then read the ANALOGY, and remember I used the word ALLOW EVIL.
Here, this is my question:
