well i am a believer in god and those that do not believe will have a hard time of it then.. cause they will have no excuse.. i am going to make sure i do my best to follow gods plan the best i can.. i believe in the lord jesus christ and i want to go home to meet him someday...i am going to try and check on some of the answers you get to this question...there is so many people out there with no consious at all. and atheist and i do not think they can explain it theirself...but if they would read the bible and seek the lord , they will find him.. they have to ask him to come into their lives and turn from their sinful ways.. it is not always easy on this earth... cause the devils coming in sheeps clothing.. he comes to kill, steal and destroy... so god be with us all...

I would say how are things going. And ask him to finally help me understand how gravity interacts with the three other stronger forces in the universe--the weak nuclear force, strong nuclear force and electromagnetism.
See, the problem is not whether or not people believe in a God or Creator. The problem is religion. I certainly believe there is a Creator. The universe is waaaay too complex for a mere mortal to have created it. However, there is no religion being practiced on the planet yet that has defined that "God" correctly. Why does every God of every religion have to have such a bad self image that all its creations must worship it? I mean if it's God it really shouldn't be worried about minor things like adoration bordering on adulation. Oh yeah, why is it God must be a he? Then how does Mother Nature fit into the family picture?

I am a sceptic not because I want to be so, but because I cannot bring myself to believe in a God as described in scriptures. I cannot understand wars, diseases, poverty, exploitation of man by man under the watchful eyes of benevolent God.
Nor can I bring myself to believe in a God who expects to be praised every now and then.
Now to answer your question, if I happened meet god face to face, I would tell him exactly what I said above.
Further, I would tell him that if I am a sceptic it was because of him because nothing in this world can happen without his sanction. Had he configured my genes in a different manner or had I been born in a different situation I would perhaps have believed in him. Therefore, He is largely responsible for my lack of faith and not me.

Thats a god question. Most people don't believe because they dont want to spend their whole life worshiping something that doesn't exist. I am one of those people, but i do go to church sometimes so i am on the fence. And if he is so great then he would understand that life ins't very easy and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I hope. But just in case i still go to church atleast once a month and i pray almost every day and thank him. (just in case)

You mean the christian version of god because the true creator of the universe is always here.
If I saw the christian version of god, I'd tell him he was fired because he was a hazard to humanity. You sure you are following the right diety based on the behavior rules he espoused in the OT? He's a terrorist in that book.

K , I can live in a world of pretend for just a sec I guess . I would probably say ...."You know you've got a few pricks down there worshiping your son , even after he supposedly told them not to, and condemning anyone who doesn't ? I think you should really get to fixing that someday."

#1, we are atheists, not "non-belivers" as if belief is the default position. We dont call you "non-atheists"
#2. If God came down and I saw her face to face I'd say "wow, Penn and Teller have a GREAT trick going there!"

"Um, ok...Hey, yeah, you know all those believers that were supposed to be like good loving people, but they kept saying and doing stuff that was rude and arrogant against us? They weren't such good people, so- Oh really?? Ohhh...I understand now. Yeah, most of us non believers were pretty decent people and didn't start wars and hate over religion or shove our ideals down their throats. Thanks, funny to see it tuned out this way. And to think of all the space there will be here without them!"
