i really like my oral english teacher, but he's just 2 years older than me.he's not tall, even not handsome.but i like the way he talks,he's also very smart and diligent.at the first sight,i don't feel he's good enough(from the appearance),but later from the talks and the way he thinks and solves the problems,i feel i really want to be with him.
but we belong to the different nationalities,i'm chinese and he's american.now,i like him not because where he came from, just pure love,i believe even if he got disabled now,i will take care of him.so, how can i pull myself out,who can help me?thx

You seem torn between the fact that he is not very good looking and from a different nationality (superficiality), and the fact that you are attracted to the fact that he is intelligent and nice. This is a maturity question, when one decides to go with the surface pleasures, or the ones that really last, the aesthetic pleasures of warmth and intelligence. You are at a fork in the road, little sister, and the one that has the most value is usually the uphill fork.

There is such thing as a teacher-student psychological bond. It is a teaching ethics for a teacher to not exploit this bond. But there are exceptions like Mary Kay LeTourneau, etc. The student on the other hand can't understand the attraction until later.

I had a crush on my ex-chemistry teacher (omg, i hope she doesnt read this). She was 8 years older, had a bf and tons of friends say she's not even pretty. A crush is a crush. You can flirt a little, but you dont wanna go to where the sun dont shine.

Get a boyfriend. Have some sex! (Don't reproduce). That will easily confuse you enough to stop believing in "true love" or whatever you are talking about.

i think this is the real love sweety so what does ur heart says?? i think u must listen to ur heart and then do as it says but remember sometimes in life we have to make very tough decisions at such situations we must be carefull as well as relaxed to avoid any wrong decision to be taken.

ok, if you like this teacher, give it a few years til your out of school, teachers can get in trouble if they act on a student's likings of them. if you still like the teacher when your done with school, then maybe a relationship, not now
