And if you do, what makes you so assured?

There's a scared, unsure side of me that wants to be comforted in believing in an afterlife. But my logical side says we just decompose.

I believe the only way to live on is through the love and memories of your friends and family. As long as you are remembered by those who's lives you touched, you will never really die.

Afterlife........ I don't believe in it! Why?

Because the Bible doesn't teach it.

The Bible teaches resurrection.
Jesus says, "I am the resurrection ..."
John 11:39-44 speaks about Lazarus' resurrection

IF there's a afterlife..... what's the purpose of John 5:28,29

Quote: "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Honestly think about that scripture:
So, If there's afterlife...... why would a person come back to be resurrected? Afterlife.... are you suppose to being living on as yourself or someone else, how do you know for sure? Just because someone told you? Where in the Bible does it say that you live on after you die? Interesting questions, huh?

I saw heaven in a dream. I know it was real because the human imagination is not capable of creating such beauty and awesomeness. It could only happen through God. In my dream, me and my pastor were running up these steps that went upwards. He reached the top long before I did. At the top there was a pealy plank which crossed over from where we were at to another side. I can not describe what I saw on the other side. It looked like a reception center. Everything was made of a glassy pearl with gold in the walls and the floor. There was a corridor with what looked like many rooms of each side. It was awesome.

Yes i do believe in an afterlife and the beyond and the whole stuff... just because i saw and heared things i really can't explain. If you ask good questions and open your mind, maybe you'll get some answers. Just don't be afraid of what you could hear and see... ;)

I do, and I'm sure about it because the one who is telling all about afterlife has proven to be true and faithful in my life, he has never failed me and everything he has ever said and foretold has been, is being, and will be fulfilled in due time. The same man is the one who died and now is alive. He knew and told all about afterlife before he died, and after he experienced afterlife, he kept and keeps saying the same truth. Also, there is another who bares whitness to this in my heart.

I do believe there is an afterlife. Too many crazy things happened after family members passed away. I think it was my wake up call to start doing better.

I don't believe in an afterlife, because it doesn't make sense. Why would god create us to live on earth, suffer and then die just to live again in heaven? Why doesn't he just create us in heaven? If I'm not deserving of living in heaven, it's not fair for me to live a life of suffering and not get anything for it--it's cruel. Why can't I just have immortal life on earth instead of going to heaven? The whole afterlife thing just doesn't pan out. I think that when you die, your dead...end of story.

I believe there is an afterlife and i believe in reincarnation, its the only thing that makes sense to me, this earthly life is simply schoolhouse for the soul.

I do because I'm aware of the levels of consciousness and how they act together.

If you want to read up on the afterlife, read books on near death experiences and anything channeled (Seth books by Jane Roberts, etc) from those in that dimension already.
