I am eating an apple right now, but would like to find more healthy snacks. I'm kind of new to this diet-health routine but am really working it hard. Any yummy suggestions? What do YOU like to grab when you need a snack?

Depends on what your trying to achieve, if its weight loss then carbohydrates like popcorn and pretzels particualy arnt the go they are very high in calories and are made from processed white flour which simply converts to sugar in your blood.
Protein, Fruit and veges.
Snacks,,,, a handful of nuts, fresh vege juice, dries fruits, tuna and salmon from a can[flavoured] plain yogurt with nuts/banana/honey, fresh fruit, beef jerky,
Lots of fresh grilled fish and loads and loads of salad and veges. Brown rice, very lean meat, lentils beans, chickpeas.
Avoid white bread, white grains[rice], processed foods like cereal.
Avoid snacking too much and plan healthy small meals, Like a fresh salmon fillet with lightly steamed brocholi, zuchini, pumpkin corn on the cob, and a small serve of brown rice, plain yoghurt and soyasauce. Roast nuts like almonds in the oven on a tray sprinckled with soyasauce...yummy.
No butter, fatty sauces and cheeses.
NO PASTA!!!
If you want dessert have some tinned peaches in natural juice with some plain yoghurt.
No alcohol, and execise everyday[ get sweaty]
If your Lowering Cholesterole and simply just being healthier throw in more whole grain breads and muslie potatoes ect.
Buy yourself a good healthy cookbook.
And enjoy because changing your diet to something like this and exerscising everyday will make you feel great!

eat that apple with about 1/8 cup raw almonds. You increase your fiber and add some fat and protein and it will satisy you longer.

Sometimes a very strong flavored food is good too, like a few dill pickles, but watch your sodium, if you haev high blood pressure.

I will make myself a spinach and romaine salad with balsamic vineagrette dressing and a sprinkle (1T) of parmesan cheese.

I also like Bush's Vegetarian BAked Beans. High fiber, protein and taste really good. But, be sure to measure out the serving size as it is smaller than you think.

Anything you can do to increase your fiber and make a healthy snack is good. Bella gave you some outstanding advice...

Popcorn is good and VERY low calorie if you don't add a bunch of butter. I just sprinkle some powdered white cheddar cheese on mine.
I also enjoy honey-wheat pretzels (Snyder's makes them).
