Sounds like you're depressed; have you seen your Dr? There are lots of ways to treat depression, not just meds although that's what works for me. I used to feel like a failure too, but now when something bad happens I try to just remember the good parts (like from a relationship that didn't work out, or a job that ended) and use the bad parts as a learning experience. It's all in your outlook - are you seeing the silver lining, or getting distracted by the cloud?
I hope you have someone to talk to in person. Yahoo Answer is great but you may need more one-on-one support. Good luck and God Bless - and do see that Dr! It changed my life and I quit drinking and using drugs, to boot.
