I used to fly ALL the time and had no problem with it. But during one flight the pilot was making hard turns and dives and scaring the hell out of me, ever since then I've been scared to get back on a plane. If anybody has knows any books or any kind of resources that I could look at to help conquer my fear, or just any advice themselves I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I am exactly the same, used to love it now hate it! you will get even more afraid it you dont get over this fear now, mine got so bad that I once caused a huge farce when i was already passed immigration, then refused to get on! tell the airline staff how nervous you are, they are trained to deal with nervous passengers, you will also feel better just telling someone. You have to break this cycle, else it will get out of control.

Take some sleeping pills, buy earplugs and then try to sleep through the flight. You might also want to ask for a window seat so know one will disturb you by wanting to get up.

Drink heavily once you get to the airport before your flight. Once seated, pass out. Someone will wake you up when it is time to leave the plane.

Well, if you have a concious trauma you can fly again if you think of all the safe flights you have had.

There's one chance in a million to have an air accident.
