5 years, as a girlfriend.. Only to find out that he is not the guy that is meant for you. Someone better came along when you least unexpected. There is no such things like long engagement. There are times some peopl they just met, but they are really good together, the word "click" are much better than having the longest one.

I don't ever want to get married. So until I want to get married I only date until around 3 years then leave him. One guy slipped through and I dated him longer than 3 years. I just think if you were meant to be together you would definitely know by 3 years and I've never felt that way about a guy yet.
