Looks do play some part, but they are not the deciding factor. Yes, I want to be attracted to the man I wake up next to every morning, but he does not have to be model material. I have found that personality and attitude make a man more (or less) attractive. My husband will never make "sexiest person alive" (neither will I) but he is so sexy to me, because I know what his heart is like.
The guy I dated when I was 18, probably could've been a model, he had a great body and he was HOT! But, he was such a jerk and when I think about everything he's done, not only to me, but to other people, I am disgusted when I look at him, NOT attracted in any way!

I use to go by the looks but now i say the looks aint paying the bills so my boyfriend now is not ugly but he aint fine but he takes care of me but i wont date no dude thats too ugly and i cant stand looking at him as long as i can look at him without getting sick ill be fine

Look matter alittle, but I have came across some fine guys who were jerks, and some not so fine guys who were also jerks. If your in it for looks, you maybe setting yourself up for some disappointment.
