They do have straightening products out now as in shampoos and other products to use at home just like styling products without all the chemical treatments. I would advise using some of these, an excellent line is to find a Sally Beauty Supply and look for ION products, this ain't spam, I have really curly hair, corkscrew curly and this stuff helps alot. Then using a large barrel brush and your blow dryer, dry it straight. A flattening iron works well too, and if this becomes your chosen method, protect your hair with a heat protecting treatment. Actually a little V-05 hairdressing in the palm of your hand and rubbed thoroughly throughout your hair length with attention to the ends works very well. There are also straightening combs too some are electric and some require an oven, the oven type works best. If all else fails, you may need to either relish in your blessing of envious hair, or go to a salon and ask for a straightener to be applied.

4 Straightening Secrets

1. After blow-drying curly hair straight, wear it with a side part. The extra weight on one side will keep it from getting puffy by day's end.
2. For the sleekest results on any tress type, use a 1500- to 1800-watt hair dryer when styling; anything less powerful allows your cuticles to curl up while you're blow-drying.
3. Don't try to blow-dry sections of hair that are more than an inch thick -- the hot air will not be able to pass through. Opt for small sections and be sure to dry each thoroughly before moving on.
4. Look for styling products that don't list water as one of the first five ingredients. Adding moisture to your hair after straightening it is guaranteed to make it curl up again.

I have wavy, curly blond hair and honestly, embrace it. Every time I go to the salon, they always say that everyone wants my hair style. What you HAVE to do is use plenty of products in it. You can get it to do what you want, but you HAVE to use more than one almost always. I typically have to use three. Bumble and Bumble has some good stuff. ALSO, Jonathan product has some AMAZING things too. You can buy his products at Sephora or Sephora.com. Check it out. Good luck.

You're going to need one of those straightener wands. They're like a curling iron, but flat. I've tried special shampoos/conditioners that are supposed to straighten hair, but they don't work, and my hair is only wavy.

maybe it's natural curl, but i do suggest that you should go to a parlor to make them straigten cause they have a lot of remedies for nicer hair.

patiently blow dry it straight...but that takes forever and it won't last at all. I had my chemically straightened...I love it.
