I love Paula Deen! (paula's home cooking)She cracks herself up on the show, and seems like she really LOVES what she's doing, she makes things look gorgeous and still has her little cheats, like using frozen pie crusts for those of us who live in the real world.
Also Giada (Everyday Italian) looks JUST LIKE Kiera Knightley! I bought my first jar of Nutella because of her! ;)
I like original Iron Chef more than the American version because it's funnier, and the time of night it comes on, who's writing down recipes?
Rachel Ray has great little shows, too. PS: If you have the food ahead of time, you really CAN make the stuff in 30 minutes.
I spent the holidays last year in the hospital, and all I watched was Food network. Does it show? Lol.

Good Eats. Alton Brown teaches me how to be a better everyday cook in one 30 minute episode than I learn in an entire day watching the network. Plus, he's just one wacky dude.
