Lots of things can cause UTI's...so it's hard to say what might be causing yours. Making sure you drink plenty of water is a good idea...urinating after intercourse (if you are sexually active). Bubble baths are also a culprit or maybe your body is sensitive to a soap that you are using and cranberry juice/tablets are a good choice. If you have recurring problems, you might want to check with your doctor. There may be something more wrong.

I'm no doctor or anything, but I used to get them pretty frequently as well. Watch what kind of soap you use down there...my doctor recommended Ivory because it's not an antibacterial nor does it have moisturizers. Bubble baths are no good for that region either. Make sure you wash up before and after sex. Pee before and after sex. Try to watch your caffeine in take and drink more water...cranberry juice is also good. Sometimes the spermicide from condoms can be an irritant as well. I prefer spermicide free condoms....Trojan makes a brand that seems to work pretty well and doesn't seem to be as irritating (look for the red box). When you sense you are getting one, make sure to rest and don't drink any alcohol. If it persists for more than a few days and worsens, then get into a doctor right away so that it doesn't spready to your bladder or kidneys. Stress can also be a big culprit. Hope this helps!

You have excellent answers already. normally a culture test is done to find the sensitiveness to different antiobiotics. So some antibiotics have no effect and even others are effective for say a week or fortnight and after that they become resistant to that and so anopther antibiotic has to be taken and then yet another. So three four antiobiotics are given as a cycle to co0mpletely eradicate the infection. But all these antibiotics would make one very weak and even irritable and lot of vitamin suppliment may be needed.
BEER is good as it has good effect in the kidney functioning.
Till you are cured BEER can be taken.
Also alkacitron (Alkaline Citrade) helps to neutralise the acidity and reduce burning sensation.
Cleanliness is most important.

Cranberry Juice is the best thing for preventing UTIs. I am taking several Medical classes at the moment and that is the best home remedy and it is very effective. There is enzymes in Cranberry's that interfere with the bacteria that we all have in our bladders. If you drink at least a glass full every day or two it will help you alot.

I usually get them if I don't pee after sex, or wear tight fitting underwear or pants, or if I use a certain type of soap. Just make sure you're clean, drink plenty of water, and try to take some cranberry supplements or drink pure cranberry juice. If you're starting to feel burning and don't have any cranberry juice, take some vitamin C, that usually helps as well. Good luck!

how high of a urinic acid level do you have, ketone level, how much stress do you have, do you drink enough water or cranberry juice, Do you have diabetes or heart disease? Are you very sexually active, your partner may be the cause of them too. There are a lot of reasons you get them often, think about what you do know about then make a list of things. And make sure you wipe the right way, don't use colored toilet paper or fully colored panties, if you do, make sure you wear a panty liner with them.
