What is your favorite weapon and why?

This is in regards to "street" fighting. If you had to choose a weapon what would it be. I have a few requirements before you post. First it must not be a firearm. I do not life firearms, they lack creativity. Second it must not be something that results in everyone dieing. (no nuclear weapons, super explosives, poison gas clouds...) Third, it does not have to be a weapon of death, it can be a deception or misdirection style weapon or even a weapon used primarily to escape.

Nun-chucks are great to show off and if you practise you can really hurt people with them but they aren't that effective and are hard to carry around.

Switchblade knifes are good too, peoples eyes always light up when you swing one out and makes the "swish swish" sound.

But my fav is this batten I used to have, it was small but big enough to hurt. The other great thing about this batten is it had a knife blade inside it, as the end of the batten screwed off and you screwed the end back on for a fixed blade, it was very cool!

The point of martial arts and martial arts weapons regarding streetfighting is to live and escape. So why do you discount guns so quicky. If your talking about street survival why is creativity important?

But if I would choose knife, baton pepper spray and Tazor as the all good alternatives. If you want to be creative just use someting sharp or heavy!

Bo staff ... most likely to find something like a stick or staff or pipe on the street than a sword or knife or any other martial arts weapon.

Also, good for long distance and circular strikes as well as defensive posturing. I have been working on short range attacks with the bo and they look promising, although not as effective at this point.

then id use my socks, but im afraid the smell would be as deadly as a sharpest knife on earth..
Every weapon can kill a human, thts why its called weapon. It depends on how u use it, if i have a katana during a fight, i could swing it around in fancy moves to hopefully scare the attacker away, or i could give him a slight cut on his pants and run, or i can just simply end the fight by cutting his neck.

I like to have one of the three with me, in this order:
1. Brass Knuckles (because they're small and the least deadly of the list, also very badass, very recoverable as well)
2. Switchblade (looks tough, easy to get out of pocket)
3. Expandable Baton (a little large to carry in the pockets, but once it expands, it is extremely deadly)

i would have to say a knife for any personal things...like if that person has done something highly disrespectful......the knife (preferably some type of bowie knife or small sword)is so personal and you get to see the life leave their body.

and against multiple attackers,a sword (katana) and a bo ( a staff) and i have trained with sie's before but i suck with them.and if it is a personal thing i have to do,i will do it in their own home,in their own bed,in front of their family. but it would have to be extremely personal...

folder knife... u dont haf 2 kill with it but u can if u want... and its easy 2 conseal... but unarmed first... cas u can like throw ppl around or faceplant into the cement or brick walls or make im sit in a submission hold or just knock em out... possibliaties r endless

The sword. It makes the battle more personal than a gun. Any idiot can shoot a gun. It takes skill to use a sword
