how could anyone go to hell for being GAY?

if a small boy had female tendancies such as liking boys over girls, kissing boys or would rather do what the girls are doing, no matter how many boys are around. We all know someone who is mentally and physically challenged, someone with a hormone imbalance. Seems to me they are born that way

If some people choose to believe that eternal damnation is the result of homosexual activity, I think that they should NEVER engage in homosexual activity.

Some of the same people believe in magic viruses and bacterias that know the difference between gay people and straight people. Some of those same people believe that the Roman Empire fell apart because of acceptance of homosexual activity

People can believe what ever they want. It doesn't matter. God is bigger and better than all our beliefs combined. When people really find God, they realize that none of these petty differences matter to such a supreme being. People make up such nonsense about God and his wishes. It's all so silly.

I tend to disagree. I don't think that one is born gay no matter how young they are when they have tendencies toward the same sex. I have known alot, and I mean alot of people who thought they were gay only to find out that they weren't,and have went on to live healthy happy lives with the opposite sex. In this day and time we are all under Satan's rule. And he just loves for people to go against God's truth. The bible tells us that men should not lie down with men. Cant get any clearer than that. But the ole Devil loves to mislead people and wants them to believe that it is God's fault because people are born that way. It all leads back to free will. If being gay is a hormone imbalance why haven't they came up with a drug for it? Lord knows they have for everything else. They have drugs for everything where sex is concerned now-a-days. Of course it seems to you that way! Don't you know that the father of lies is the devil himself, and many of those "physically, and or mentally challenged people, as well as many of those people with a hormone imbalance (I used to have a hormone imbalance as well) that supposedly causes them to be gay, is nothing but a demon. There are such things you know. It's called a DEMON OF HOMOSEXUALITY, and a DEMON OF LESBIANISM, there's also the DEMON OF LUST. And they can be set free in the name of Jesus. My brother over there was right, the bible does say," DO NOT HAVE SEX WITHA MAN AS YOU WOULD HAVE SEX WITH A WOMAN. I HATE THAT" Leviticus 18:22, then in Romans 1:24-27 it says, " So God let them go. He allowed them to do what their sinful heart wanted to. He let them commit sexual sins. They polluted one another's bodies by what they did.They chose a lie instead of God's truth. Their women committed sexual acts that were not natural. In the same way, the men turned away from their natural love for women. They burned with sexual longing for each other. there are tonnes of reasons for "being gay". personally i think there are 3 main types

1. the perverted type where a child suffers abuse...as seen in many movies and go on to become gay (or mass murders etc)

2. another type is one who suffers emotional abuse from the other sex and turns gay

3. hormone imbalance. too many male or female hormones.....(which also leads to mutations at birth.)

in many religions including islam forbid gay activity. and from what i gather, christanity isnt too acepting (my belief only) about it either....

so whether you will go to hell for being gay really depends on how and what you believe in...

personally, i am ok with gay people... as long as they dont start kissing or something like that in front of me. some of them i have met are actually really nice!

That is for God to decide, but if it truly is something they cannot change, I don't think God would punish them for that. We do not know enough to understand the nature of homosexuality and whether or not it is a choice. We do know that the Bible teaches against homosexual behavior, but it also teaches against lying and cheating, something all of us have done at least once in our lives. All sins are equal in God's sight if you have accepted the salvation that Christ offers. I believe that if someone is going to Hell just because he or she is homosexual, then we all are going to Hell because we have all sinned. It doesn't work that way. Accepting salvation through Jesus Christ gets us out of that and gets us eternal life. That applies to all people, gay or straight or whatever.

It is natural for them, and for all of us, to be tempted to do things that God says are wrong. In the same way, pedophiles and adulterers (alcoholics, drug addicts, etc.) don’t make a conscious decision to "choose" that self-destructive lifestyle, they simply give in to their sinful desires. However, although sin is natural for unbelievers, that doesn’t mean God wants them to remain that way. God can set them free from their sinful nature, give them new desires, and help them withstand temptations.
