How old was and Noah? How long did in take him to build the Arc?

Sheryl is wrong. Methuselah lived to be 969 and it took noah 40 yrs to build the ark. Noah only lived to be 6 hundred and somthin.

Gen 7:6 says Noah was 600 years old when the flood came. Gen. 9: 29,29 says He died at the age of 950.

The Ark took less than a century to build, although the Bible doesn't state how long exactly.

It took aproximately40 years to build and in Genesis7:6 it says that Noah was 600 years old when the deluge hit, and genesis:9/:28&29 tels us that he lived to be 950 years old

Did you know that the Chinese ( and many other societies) have kept written accounts for the last 4-6 thousands years, which is much before Noah's ark is said to be built..... and that not ONE society can recall the WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD BE FLOODED BY WATER!!!!! Gen.7:6; He was born 1056 after Adam, at age 600 the flood in 1656 years after Adam came, he lived 350 years to 2006 after Adam, this was 2060 before Christ. Gen.9:28,29;

Shem was 98 after the flood, and age 100 two years Gen.11:10; after the flood. It is evident that the ark was in process by the time he was born.

i asked my father that question a few weeks back.....and apparently it took him more than a 100 years to build the ark.....i'm not sure how old he lived to be though....but it must have been pretty high up there
