I think you already know what the answer to this must be; take your cat to the vet as soon as you can. You say the growth is already big. It is essential that you find out what it is for sure & deal with the problem. Only a qualified vet can help.

You need to take the cat to a vet. The lump could be a cyst, cancer, a hernia. The vet will want to know how long the lump has been there and if it has changed since you first noticed it!

It can't be a rat or mouse. A lump on a stomach can mean cancer or a tumor. I think it is a tumor. My cat had one BIG lump on her stomach so I had to bring her to the vet. She had a tumor and well i was tooo late so they couldn't do surgery on her so she had to be put to sleep.(which means she has to die) So take her to the vet before the tumor spreads through her whole body.

It could be a tumor. Most feline tumors are benign, but should still be looked at by a vet. It could be an injury that has become infected, feel to see if the area is hot. Usually a vet will give you some info over the phone concerning your cats problem....call around and good luck.

Cats are not snakes. They do not swallow food whole, but use their teeth like people do so a hard lump cannot be a bolus of food like a rat or mouse.
Take your cat to the vet to have it checked out.

Any lumps need to be checked by a vet. Could be cancer could be just a fatty lump cats get as they age.
It could also be an infection that needs medicine.
It's better to be safe than sorry and catching it early means it is easier to treat.
Good luck

Lumps need to be checked by a vet. Animals can get cancer, just like humans can..... And this lump could be cancerous, you never know.

It can be an infected bite from an insect or something or it can be a tumor, get a vet to check it. not all tumors are cancer so dont figure the cat is an automatic gonner.
