When I try to install "limewire", the installation stays in one place and dosen't advance. I waited for 3 days to see if it was going to install but it didn't. Also, I couldn't exit the installation and couldn't even restart my computer.

Go to download.com & download it. Before that, speed up your PC. do defrag & check for errors.
Again, stop antivirus & spyware working for a while.

did you download the .exe from limeware or some hacking site, cause if you used some untrusted location to download the file then you are risking your computer, just go to limewire and download the file

before installing it try to turn off ur firewall and any anti virus programs that u have running that might be causing it to hang up and not install right i hope that this help u

update your java really depends how much freedom you have on your computer if it's yours and no one has set restrictions it should install
