Flank steaks, because they're real thin and grill up fast. Cook with some onions and sliced bell peppers, then slice everything into strips and drop it into a tortilla. Fajitas!

If you are looking for something fast and easy then check out pepper or cube steak. Remember that chopped steak and the like needs to be cooked well done to kill all potential bacteria that is on the meat whereas steak is not cut up but solid and the heat usually will kill the bacteria on the meat while it's being cooked. Chopped steak though has a lot of fat that runs into the skillet so use more like a NY Strip or Sirloin in a flat pan.
If you are looking for a tasty steak choose either Ribeye for the flavor or a good Filet for tenderness and use a good steak sauce when cooking like Dales steaksauce if you have that where you are at.

bostom butt steaks. A beef steak is best on a grille. If you have an "outside area" all you need is a couple of old tin cans and an oven grille, some charcoal and charcoal lighter. Put the oven grille on top of four same height cans. The cans should go near the corners make sure it's steady, then take the oven rack up, put some charcoal in a pile / dump on some fluid and let the coals tunr white / spread them out and put the oven rack bacl on the cand and grilel your steaks. THey'll taste better.

my favorite steaks are chuck steaks ^_^ but in a pan, anything called fastfry are very good. To cook in a pan, youd want a thinner steak. I say this cuz i used to work in a meat dept. at a grocery store :P so i think i know what im talking about lol. inside blade steaks are the ones usually youd find as fastfry, so try those

Minute steaks. They are thin cut so they cook faster and more fully on a pan.

filet mignon=$17 a pound. Sirloins are the cheapest and are also good to cook in a pan, but season well.(I like worcestershire and Cavender's)
