i had found his profile after i had finally created mine. i confronted him about it and he says he is trying to get all his friends (223) to come to a party he is supposedly going to host and the females are for his buddies. i had checked around though and he has commented on various girls pics saying that they have sexy smiles and their beauty takes his breath away. i have tried talking to him and said that even if he didn't take the page down i asked if he could at least change his status. he then started arguing with me that i was being petty and none of his boys has girls that complains to them. he says that he is with me and that is what really matters and when i asked him to just be considerate and compromise with me, since it bothered me so much, he said that i should be considerate for him and respect his space. i want to know if i am really being petty or if i am justified. please help me.

you deserve respect and he isn't giving it to you. for starters this is not for his friends he is flirting with these girls (he lied) I know your smart enough to see that. second to tell you none of his friends girlfriends complains is because they either do not know or they do not tell him about it.
You need to open your eyes and see he is not having the same love for you as you do for him. he is still looking for something better and I know this is just my opinion but the way he is treating you is like a stand by if he can find better than he has you to fall back on.
respect yourself and find a real man who is going to treat you with the respect you deserve.

You probably don't want to hear this, but this guy doesn't sound that great to me. His profile says he's single? And his excuses are lame. I think you should end the relationship and find a guy who will respect you. Good luck and don't worry - breakups are painful but you will realize it was the right choice and will feel sooo much better!

well.. from what you wrote..

I'd say no way.. and he gave one of the lamest excuses I've heard for anything..

It sounds like hes trying to play the field.. if his buddies wants these women to come, THEY can approach them... no need to personally flirt with them to entice them to come..

I mean hes leading people on if hes intending to get these women to hook up with his friends, and he is doing the flirting and approaching himself. so any way you look at it hes in the wrong..

Obviously, the guy has no respect for you.. if you aired that this situation bothered you so much, he should have understood and either took the page down, or at least switched the offending portions and apologized.

I suspect he doesnt realize that a relationship is half and half.. and (from what you wrote) hes not being flexible enough in the relationship.. really sounds like he wants to have his cake and eat it too.. that is, you on the side and him hooking up with these other women too..

you need to talk to him (not yell) and express to him.. really get him to understand how this makes you feel.. and if hes not willing to budge then maybe you need to reconsider this guy in your life? I mean, if hes not willing to budge on something so simple, what happens in the future when something comes along thats even bigger?

You are justified. If he cares for you he would be concerned of your feelings. And, for him to say, "i am with you and that is all that matters". No No ... It's like he is telling you that his is doing you a favor. and, if his "boys" don't have girls, that sounds like their problem and maybe they need to get a My Space page for themselves. And, sorry to say but if they have his attitude then no wonder they don't have anyone. And, honestly neither should your man. He sounds like an @ss..

"Respect his space"? The space to portray himself as being single? You are completely justified, especially since it's trivial for him to change it.
