I installed the new yahoo messemger an also installed some yahoo components also. The problem is they are interfeiring with my browser an cause it to shut down, there is no uninstall button so I don't know how to remove it from my cpu. Help! need an answer today if possible. thanks! first answer that helps me gets ten points.

lots of people are having the same issue. Go to Control Panel/Add-Remove programs and uninstall from there. If they are not listed, something didn't install properly, download and reinstall and then uninstall

If you have chosen to un-install then you can go to Add/Remove programs in the control panel. You will find Yahoo Messenger there. You can also find an un-install at C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger (assuming you installed to the default directory. You also have the option of turning off th tool bar in your browse under view-toolbars, just uncheck it.

havin that same problem but i clicked on my start menu and it said installed new program went to the messagner that was high lighted and it gave me the option to uninstall it and i did it got the old version and now my computer is just fine

Have you tried add remove program from the control panel, i tried it from there and uninstalled yahoo from there.

Ok..here is the answer:
1-buy hammer from home depot
2- have ur PC outside ur home
3-crash it into small psc.
4-restart it again...
