yes why not, some time it dont take time to happened and some time it takes so much times that doesnt mean that love are true or false, by your question if you see the pic of that person and you fall in love with him that doesnt mean that his love is false or he flirt i am not saying that you that he is not flirting he should be but you have to make sure yourself by your question it is not bad that some one make love by seeing on net or chatting.
just met and thing twice and let know each other then you know he is true or false. till that time dont allow him lot closer to you

yes its entirely possible...
however, None of us know who you're talking about.. so its hard to say..
I say its one of three situations:
1) hes seriously interested in you for you
2) hes joking and is messing with your head
3) hes seriously interested in you for sex
if you've known him for a short period of time I suspect either 2 or 3...
The way I look at it is this.. love is weighted on time.. if someone can fall in love with you in a short period of time, they can equally fall out of love in a short period of time.
What im trying to say is.. take things slow.. if you're really interested in them, perhaps ask to call them, write real letters (you know, on actual paper)... though I would not recommend meeting anyone off the internet in person.. and especially not alone. And DONT mail any actual letters from your real address or give out your address.. get a P.O. box or the like if possible. There are loads of imposters and psychos online.. for real.
If you're not an adult of legal age.. dont even bother with trying to contact them off of the net... and explain what is up to your parents... this is very important.. there are WAY too many sexual predators and general nutjobs online.
If hes looking for 3, he'll be gone after awhile if he doesnt meet you for a lengthy period of time..
if hes looking for 2, it will be a little tricky but you can probably weed him out just by seeing how he acts.. especially as time goes by.. he'll get bored of it and disappear..
if hes looking for 1, well.. I think if they're willing to contact you by other means than the internet, and you know them for a long time (long time being at least 6 months - 1 year) then yeah.. it could potentially be something..
just dont open up too soon.. if hes out for fun (or not who he claims to be) then you'll be crushed if you were serious.. and I suspect most ppl are out to play games... its so easy to fake being a specific person online.. dont be fooled.

probably not he doesnt know you well enough. also you could always tell him what he considers flirting so then he knows. mabye he was missled by some one flirting. it sounds like he's trying to tell you thathe really cares about you n he's not just misleading u.
