Tell your sister to stop eavesdropping on your parents. In cause you didn't know, your mommy and daddy does have sex!

It depends on the situation - How did she overhear the conversation? Was she eavesdropping? If so, then don't say anything. Sex is natural. We all know that moms and dads have sex. That's how we got here.

On the other hand, if the comment was made in Front of your sister directly, then you should speak with your mom or dad privately and tell them that it was embarassing.

Sex doesn't stop when you have kids. And it doesn't stop when you have grandkids either, hon. It's a natural, intimate way for people who love each other to feel connected. :) Although it seems gross right now..I promise that when you're an adult, it will be anything but gross :)

If you told your parents they would be so embarassed. That's a tough one. I guess it all depends on what you want to do. When people have kids they have less time for each other. If you are for you parents getting together you and your sister could have a slumber party at someone elses house to give your parents a night off so they can be together. Or if you were in a Disney movie, you and your sister could surprise your parents with a romantic dinner...not letting on you over heard the conversation. Set a nice table with candles and flowers and cook them a nice dinner then just leave them to eat together. On the other hand, if the thought totally grosses you out you can say you watched a scary movie and you are scared to sleep alone and insist you sleep between them until you turn 18.

Ummm, hate to break it to you, but your parents have sex. My parents have sex. All parents, at one time or another, had sex. Just know that it's going to happen. They probably shouldn't be talking about it in front of you (or using that sort of language) but it may be for the best not to confront them about it. It sounds like it was a mistake and they didn't think your sister could hear them. No reason to make the situation even more awkward.

I think you should give your parents some time together.

It's no secret they have sex, is it? I mean you and your sister had to come from somewhere, right? Sex is a part of most normal marriages--some people would say that it's not a normal marriage without the couple having sex sometimes.

Just be cool about it. It's normal for adults to have sex. At worst, you know you have normal parents and that's not so bad, is it?

Starla is wrong in my opinion "there is nothing you can nor should do." Here's what you and your sister should do...try to get away for a night and let them have their personal time together. That's how you and your sister were created. parents have sex lives too. Problem is theirs diminishes while there are kids at home. They just need a romantic evening to themselves. So give it to them.

absolutely nothing. It's only natural for your parents to want to have sex. Maybe you could ask your mom if you could spend the weekend at Grandma's and give your folks some alone time. They'd appreciate it!

Absolutely nothing. Your parent's sex life belongs to them alone. If you are overhearing things you might just say that you overheard their conversation. That should make them more aware of your presence and try to calm their discussions. As far as you doing something, there is nothing you can nor should do.

Assuming you are the oldest, I would tell my parents that they were overheard and it was embarrassing. Maybe talk to your mom and she can talk to your dad. That would be after I was grossed out severely. lol

Edited to add: Your parents probably did not intend to be overheard but ignoring things does not make them go away.

Let your mom know what your sister told you. Mom will take care of it.
