i have a picture ,actually its a clue to my hunt ,i dont know how to bring the shaded part in front.it is shaded with black colour

You can't bring it to the front, but you can lighten it some to read or see the clue.

Open the image in Photoshop.

Open the Layers dialog box (CTRL + L)

Slide the black arrow to the right.

This will lighten the entire image (create a selection if you are just lighening the shadowed area) and the darkened area just enough to read what's written.

If you lighten it too much, it will appear grainy.

by hidden if u mean the part of the pics tat u cant see coz its limited by the size of the canvas/document!

then what u got to do is

open ur *.psd
go to image menu and click on the "REVEAL ALL" menu.

it will do

if it is a flat image no layers you are SOL unless they gave you some varience to adjust the curve
