I think it has to do with liking ourselves. I married my bad boy and I'm sure not that thrilled about it. Nice guys finish last, I'm telling ya. For some stupid reason, I'll choose a jerk over someone who would treat me like a princess any day. I think it might have something to do with Karma. Perhaps, if you dont believe you deserve to be treated well then you really don't. Find a girl that doesn't have emotional baggage. If there are any. I dont know I've got more baggage than any 15 people I've met... Safe guys to marry huh? is there such a thing?

Dating a bad boy is like just letting loose and having fun, but you don't want to keep that kind of guy. He's a bad boy for a reason usually. Safe guys are the ones you want to keep because you know they won't treat you like crap, usually.

...But those who do, seem to love getting both the thrill of dating 'bad boys', plus the security of marrying a 'safe guy' : Perhaps, they are feeling that they are getting 'the best of both worlds', this way !

and it works the other way around too. Guys have a good time until they find a nice girl and then they settle down and marry. Who cares anyway, just be safe, rather than be sorry anyway

Probably the same reason why guys like to date whores but would never bring them home to meet the family. They wait for the 'safe girl'.

well, think about it. if the bad boy is mr cool and doesnt care what anyone thinks, he wont take care of you. he won't meet you halfway in marraige. it's just like with women- men marry good girls, not fun girls (fun as in slu**y) so yeah! it's pretty obvious why.

I would say, maybe because they feel bad boys are fun, but hardly worthwhile, since they may not have the highest of morals, dependability, stability, OR fidelity.

bad boys are more sextual, and can deliever more pleasure, and safe boy can take care of you in your life.
