It seems no matter what religion or nationality we all are, why is it that we just can not get along or agree to disagree????? It makes absolutely no sense yet I know that this is a real impossible wish/desire.

Probably not on here. Everyone is free to say whatever they want.

If most of the people from this section were all in a room together, most would get along I think.

I understand what you're saying. I think, and it's just my opinion, that we currently have two options. #1: Dig mass graves and then just fire the missiles. After which we would all be in perfect peace with one another. ~ or ~ Try a little harder. You know, do things like understand that when two or more people/groups disagree it doesn't mean that some are "right" and the others "wrong", or that some are "good" and the rest "bad". Maybe disagreeing means that the people involved just ... Disagree. Learning that there really aren't that many BIG deals in life, and in the world, makes it a lot easier to live and let live. Makes it a lot easier to get along. Makes it a lot easier to work together on the things that really ARE big deals ... Disease, pollution, starvation, etc. We CAN all try, and we can do that TOGETHER. Or we can all die without trying. And we can do that together too. I guess its just a matter of what I want to shoot for as an individual. Because either way, the only place I have to start is ... Me. ~ Peace & Blessings ~

Very good thought but in my opinion it can not be in this age. Seems that the in place innate nature within each is the stumbling block. All tend to see themselves as perfect to a degree and notice the imperfection in other very quickly.

There is a promise that your dream will come to be but that is for the next sequence when all have been sorted into the two groups, divisions, or kingdoms. Again in my view we must just be patient and wait for that revelation.

Absolutely today you can do your part to improve the situation by always looking to the faults within you and stop looking at the faults of others. It will not eliminate all but it will be a step in the right direction.

It probably won't happen but wouldn't it be nice? I think a good way to start is to get rid of all the activists for every group out there. People really need to quit grouping themselves by race, religion, gender, etc. It causes everybody to focus on the differences instead of the similarities.

people being people will never get along. someone's always going to be somewhere doing something they have no business doing. there's always going to be that one person who just doesn't really give a care about how their actions concern other people. it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. there will always be one person who is mean, selfish, hateful, controlling, and greedy. it is generally these people who end up in high positions of power and make it impossible for peace to happen.

No, we can never all just 'get along', because our minds are wired to care personally about no more than roughly 150 people. Everyone outside that sphere is treated as an object rather than a person.

I think it's possible if people focused on what they have in common with others versus what they don't have in common. I also think that we have a whole society mindset that excuses, rationalizes and minimizes abuse which only brings up another generation of people who think it's okay to treat others poorly. I don't believe it's impossible, but it takes a consistent and concerted effort from many people.

"Good fences make good neighbors." As long as mass human interaction continues, someone will always be offending someone else. It would be so much easier if we could keep nonessential conversation to a glance over the fence and "Hello. Nice weather, isn't it." Unfortunately, that will never happen, and so the arguements will never cease.

Even the bible says that there will be wars and rumors of wars. When the world is in peace, than you know the end is near.
